- Michael Phelps broke 5 Swimming WR and 1 Swimming OR and is the first swimmer in history to get 8 medals in a sigle olympics.
- Singapore get their second medal (after 48 yrs) ... For the 3rd -- wait long long la
- China has most gold medal (sekali got SCADALS)

- S'pore lost to China ( I mean China lost to China)
- Liu of China had GAVE UP on the 110m Hurdles [injure by a bit NIA](China gonna chase after him wif chopper liao)

Womens, play good soccer? What's with the men? Nigeria vs Brazil was nice !

Brazil's women team top the group with 7 pts and accord. to goal diff. (Or they would've been 2nd). Their striker (whose name I 4got) was a pro. Nigeria had long pass problem (it was sad). They could pass well. The reason why they got the 1 goals = PENALTY (Even my grandma canscore penalty).
Significance of goals by Brazil :
1st goal : Was a volley from 27m out
2nd goal : Was a bicycle kick (which didn't involve falling down)
3rd goal : Was a connection of pass followed by a TIP past the goal-line
THATS IT!!! I need to sleep (don'cha feel tired after sleeping for only 8 hrs [9pm -5am])

Tao Li Tao Tai (淘汰） @ 5:59 AM
Tao Li is OUT !! Well, she did quite well so far, but with a Swimming Heats earlier in the afternoon, which she got 5th (sad case), she was no longer in the competition (which means she didn't qualify for the SF).
This afternoon, on bus 31 (which has a TV), I was watching Gymnastics. China got Gold and USA got bronze (didn't saw who got silver). But the surprising thing is that all of the Chinese were of an average of 19 and a half yrs ols. That gave China a strong no. 1 medal lead :) 身为中华名族的应该高兴才对！
In the Mens swimming heats, an OR (Olympics Record) was achieved. The former OR for breaststroke was 2:09:44 and Paolo Bossini (I wear Bossini's shirt LOL) from Portugal (i think) had a total timing of 2:08:98 (not bad -- Michael Phelps would've THRASHED him).
OK ... got to do some overwhelming D&T ... Mr. Sim sure knows how to teach (TEACH LESSON, WORK MORE :] ) Joking :)

Beijing Olympics is getting
HOT as more celebrities come. In the Basketball match between USA and China, USA won by 101 - 70 ( OH MY GOD !!!) and in the mdst of the match, someone spotted US President George W. Bush, his wife, Laura Bush, his dad, George Bush and his secretary Henry Kissinger ! (They must've been so happy). USA's 'Redeem Team' (tats wad they call themselves) literally thrashed the Yao Ming-led Chinese.In soccer *looking at other side* ... BRAZIL SHOWED SOME
SAMBA MAGIC !!! 5-0 victory over New Zealand saw them top Group C with 6 pts. (Thats the BRAZIL we know). This is what coach Dunga said, after Ronaldhino scored 2 goals in the match and 3 goals in the Olympics. "Ronaldhino might not have played a single OFFICIAL game, but with this headstart, he can only get better, as Brazil progress" (that is, if Brazil PROGRESSES)8 medals in the Men's 400m (Swimming) and Michael Phelps got 1 already *looking at the medal, forming a gun with his hand and pretending to shoot one down* (LOLZ) ! Well, he deserved it. He even broke his own 400m IM record. (Not bad ...)
Thats it, I got to go to clinic for health checkup *cough* I will post more pictures and VIDEOS!

Holland vs USA (Soccer)
Without Roy Makaay, Holland will be 'handicapped'. Holland's no. 1 goalkeeper (Edwin van der Sar) is remaining at Manchester Utd so Holland's defend won't be as rock-hard. USA is also without David James, who, like Van der Sar is remaining at his club.
Italy vs Korea (Archery)
Korea world's no. 1 in Archery is set to break world record and olympics record. Italy (known to be 'pah-qiao') doesn't stand a single chance. But if Italy gets that 1 out of 1000 chances, they would be known for defeating a world no. 1
Women's 100m Butterfly SF (Swimming)
Tao Li, who was 4th in the Preliminary Round, is leading SG to their first medal (Can't be gold) and has a fierce competition with her other competitors. Tao Li, along with Bryan Tay, Nicolette Teo and Lynette Lim, are in the national SG swimming team.

What!!! That's IT?? Who cares ... Beijing Olympics is such a bore especially the fact that S'pore won't probably bring a metal back! 25 players and more than 50% are foreigners (such small talent pool) Let's see, the only one hu can most probably win a bronze or silver is Li JiaWei (Table Tennis). Obviously, she isn't from SG!
€uro 2008 ... the champion goes to SPAIN(€$PANYOL) They were such a magnificent team with Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Iker Casillas and Puyol! Letdowns were ... Portugal (Cristiano Ronaldo was a
small fry as he didn't produce quite a show unlike season 2007/08), Germany (Whats with Ballack, Schweisteiner and Klose?), Czech Republic (Petr Cech wasn't his usually style, known as the main cause of the 3-2 loss to Turkey), Italy/France (Both were overrated. A defending champion LUCKILY got into quater-finals, and 1st runner-up thrashed like CRAZY) and the €URO 2004 Champions Greece (What happened to Nikopolodis and Ashravin/Gekas? The coach could have died of HEART-ATTACK!!!)So that's about all ... I will try to put some pictures on €uro 2008 and Beijing Olympics 2008 if POSSIBLE :)
